♥Lovely Red Velvet Brownies Cheesecake Bars♥

Maria Duarte

February is the month of love. It is the time to show your family, friends, and significant other how much you appreciate them. And while most people buy flowers and candy for their loved ones, I love to bake them their favorite desserts. I believe there is something special about putting effort into making a baked good you know is going to make those around you happy. And whether it is cakes or cupcakes, or cookies or pies, everyone has that one comfort dessert that they love.

A few days ago, I was scrolling through pinterest when I found a recipe for red velvet brownie cheesecake bars. I knew that I wanted to bake a sweet treat to give to my friends for Valentines day so I decided to try the recipe out…. Long story short, everyone loved the brownies. They said the sweet and chewy red velvet base combined perfectly with the soft and smooth cheesecake. Some people even begged me to share the recipe with them.

I had never tried them before but red velvet brownie cheesecake bars quickly became my obsession. They are the perfect dessert to make if you want to show your loved ones that you appreciate them.

Now, without further ado, here is the recipe for the most amazing red velvet brownie cheesecake bars to share with your friends!

  • 1 cup Granulated Sugar

  • 2 eggs

  • 1 ½ teaspoons red food coloring

  • 2 teaspoons Vanilla Extract

  • ½ teaspoon salt

  • ¾ cup Flour

  • 3 Tablespoons Cocoa Powder

Preparation:

Combine the melted butter and granulated sugar.

Add the eggs and whisk for about 2 minutes until a slightly foamy homogenous mixture forms (this will give you a crackly top).

Mix in the vanilla extract and food coloring.

Add the flour, cocoa powder and salt and mix until fully combined.

Line a pan with parchment paper and pour the batter into it.

Cream Cheese Swirl

Ingredients:

  • 8 ounces Cream Cheese

  • 1 egg

  • ⅓ cup Granulated Sugar

Procedure:

Combine all the ingredients in a mixing bowl and whisk together until creamy.

Place large dollops of the cream cheese mixture on top of the red velvet brownie batter. Use a knife to make swirls.

Bake for 30 to 35 minutes at 350°F..
