The Magic of Disney During the Holidays

The holidays are always a big deal; we decorate, we celebrate, and we spend time with our loved ones. Sometimes it’s hard to define what a holiday is; nevertheless, whether it’s big or small, Disney goes all out each year. Especially during Halloween and Christmas, the atmosphere changes. On Halloween, the air shifts from summer; it becomes thicker with excitement and colder by the second. Magic Kingdom is known as “the happiest place on earth”, and even though this could be somewhat far-fetched, it does come close to perfect. As soon as you enter the park, every little detail is taken into account: the pumpkins are in place, the characters are in costume, the treats are scary good, and the memories made are forever.  Every place has its own way of celebrating the holidays, but Disney, and especially Magic Kingdom's way, is one of the most special places to spend your time. In summer, Orlando is filled with sunshine, sometimes rain, heat, and millions of people trying to have their happily ever after, but in the fall, everything changes. The crowds disperse, the weather is calmer, with some rain to balance things out, but the best part is the feeling you get when you set foot into the magical world that Walt Disney dreamt up. His dream became a reality, his fiction stepped out of a children's book, and he achieved what most people strive for: perfection. The Disney parks are accessible, child-friendly, pet-friendly, and even adult-friendly. There is something for everyone. Whether you like adrenaline-filled rides or calm and spotless adventures, I assure you, you will find your place at Disney World. When the leaves start to brown and the air becomes crisp, that's when the real magic begins. Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is one of the best experiences anyone could ask for. People go all out in their costumes, dress up, get dolled up, and get ready for one of the very best nights of their lives. When going to the party, you get to enter the park at four pm and leave until the last train at one am. The rides are better at night, the energy is buzzing, the food tastes better, and the memories made are those that you could read in a book. So next year, when in doubt about how to celebrate Halloween, remember that Disney World might just be the perfect solution.
